March 20, 2010 was a great day!

I served a wedding mass for a great couple today on the Marriage Island on the San Antonio River. The couple were both in the United States Air Force, he was a staff sergent and she was a SPEC4. They are stationed a world apart due to the wars, but both were able to catch a ride to San Antonio via the USAF. They will have to spend 11 months apart after Wednesday! My prayer is that they shall return to each other safely! I ask God to bless them and their families. There was close to 40 friends and family from many areas of Texas including El Paso and Dallas. Thank you Jesus for this beautiful and chilly day! It was truely great.
